Courses Offered with Brief Description and Subjects Under
CHARACTERISTICS OF MBA (EXECUTIVE) PROGRAM
1. Same number of academic units as that of the regular MBAprogram (42 units)
2. Same tuition and other fees to be charged to an executiveprogram enrollee.
3. Entry requirement for the student in terms of job post is his current industry position in the supervisory level (refer to employment certification)
4. Teaching approach shall focus on case method with business/industry applications rather than theory.
5. Actual contact time which is supposedly 54 hours for a 3-unit subject shall be subdivided into two (2) parts:
5.1 IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
27 hours will be devoted to guided round-table discussions;case presentation; lectures; film showing; written examinations.
5.2 OFF-CLASS ACTIVITIES
The other 27 hours will be devoted to independent study/research; case presentation and company visits.
Note: the student in-class school activities are reduced to a greater extent since a big portion of the academic requirements can now be done in the office or at home or outside of the school premises, but with proper guidance and supervision by the professor.

MAN 101 - Management Principles and Dynamics
      An introduction to the function of management, i.e. planning, organizing,staffing, directing and controlling the atsks performed by managers in different types and sizes of business organizations. Concepts and theories of organizations and of management practices in private firms are topics of interest to develop management competence among the students.
MAN 102 - Basic Statistics
      A course of modern statistical theories is applied to research, methods of analyzing business and economic data, summarizing ungrouped and grouped data, construction and use of index numbers, analysis of time series, simple correlation and regression analysis to develop competence in handling statistical data and in the presentation of statistical results.
MAN 103 - Methods of Research
      A survey of different methods- historical, descriptive, experimental, systematic, scientific techniques of investigation, including practical problems in selecting a topic, gathering data, analyzing and reporting of findings, methods appropriate for preparation of case studies and thesis.

MARMA 201 - Marketing Management
      An integration of wide spectrum of marketing activities into a scheme of planning, organizing, directing, controlling; a discussion on the variable factors of marketing concepts of marketing management. The emphasis is placed on discussions of modern marketing policies and stragtegies as they relate to corporate goals and objectives.
PROMA 202 - Production Management
      A course on the management of production operations. It includes a discussion on the principal administrative problems and techniques used in achieving effecient manufacturing of goods, design of products, routine scheduling, dispatching, simplifying methods, maintenance, quality and cost control.
FINMA 203 - Financial Management
      A course on the role of finance in business organizations, techniques and problems of financial management, integrating with other activities and role of controllers, sources of funds, planning cash requirements and organizing finance function. It also covers financial packaging, liquidity positions, profit planning, and budgetary systems of the company.
MANAC 204 - Managerial Accounting
      A course on the principles and procedures of accounting and use of accounting reports in the administration of business enterprise. Different concepts and techniques of capital budgeting, accounting methods, guidelines on acquisition and effective utilization of scarce funds.
MANEC 205 - Managerial Economics
      A course on economic analysis as applied to executive decisions, economic aspects of corporation policies on production, competition, profit costs, demand price determination, advertising and capital formation with emphasis on measurement and forecasting.
ORBEP 206 - Organizational Behavior and Processes
      Problems and techniques of adjustment of individuals and groups in business and industry, techniques of motivating and developing cooperation among executives and other economic groups, and development of public community relation by business enterprise.
BUSPO 207- Business Policy
      Designed to develop skills in top management policy formulation and administration as distinguished from specialization with departmental orientation. Emphasis is on defining objectives, developing organizational character, understanding the relationships among various policies and administration at different levels and mobilization of various policies and resources for the attainment of objectives under different circumstances.

      Analysis of common and current problems in Philippine economy, applying business/industrial concepts in the utilization of natural resources, employment, labor conditions and human resources, growth of the market, changing methods of distribution, public and private finance, changes in political and social attitudes.
EXETDEV 302 - Executive Training and Development
      Discusses the administrative leadership and technical skills that would ensure competent and efficient organizational leadership. Leadership group dynamics, motivation, and crisis management are also covered. The management of time and information is given emphasis as a principal component of executive responsibility.
