Giving
the message as guest speaker was Mr. Bernardo Umali,
CPA and an SSC-R alumnus. Graduated high
school valedictorian from MLQU and opted to transfer to SSC-R from UP, Mr. Umali addressed the attendees and the new CPAs with
spontaneity emphasizing his untiring effort in meeting his position which he
obviously enjoys now. Copping the 13th
Place in the CPA Board Exam during his time paved
the way to his present well-paying career.
Meanwhile,
Fr. Cachero took a different turn as he addressed the
attendees. He challenged everyone to
take the braver stance in demonstrating quality performance specifically in the
area of accountancy. Dr. Lolita A. De
Guzman (CABACS Dean), on the other hand, expressed her gratitude to the entire
community for being supportive to the aspirants and the successful examinees
during their honing years in SSC-R.
THE
NEW CPAs AND THEIR WORD OF THANKS AND INSPIRATIONS
- JASON BAELLO
“Have
a social life and read newspapers. A
great deal of content of the exams comes from the present and not from the
past. Be economically and politically
updated.”
- JOHN MICHAEL GONZALES
“Perhaps
my discipline emanated from being a chess player. My attitude of enjoying the study like
basketball (aside from playing chess) helped me eliminate the feeling of
difficulty”.
- ROSARIE MAE MANLINCON
“Thank
you for tendering us this special occasion.
To all my mentors, thanks a lot for the advice and the effort extended
during our preparation for the exams. To
all 5th year students, set your goal and rewards are waiting.”
- RACHELLE SALVADOR
“Have
faith in yourself and always pray.”
- ROWELL LUMAGUE
“ I just listened attentively, rest a lot and frequent the
adoration chapel everyday.”
- JUANITO LAPITAN
“Accounting
is not really difficult. We are the ones
making it difficult. Have fun and love
what you do.”
