CANLUBANG CAMPUS HOLDS 2008 CAREER EXPO

Eight schools coming from the different areas of Laguna converged in one big event held and organized and at San Sebastian College-Recoletos Canlubang Campus on March 7, 2008.

Dubbed as “2008 CAREER EXPO”, the whole day event provided students with the following seminars which were ably handled by the indicated guest lecturers:

Flair Tending/Cocktail Mixing – Derick E. De Borja (president of Wild Cocktails-Mobile Bar Hosting)
Basic TV Production – ARMACOM
Basic Acting – STAG
Baking/Cake Decorating – Ms. Ferlinda G. Alabado (Technical Services Associate, San Miguel Millers Corporation)
Games Development/Basic Programming – Mr. Ryan Maneja
Tour Guiding – Mr. Albert Danan (P.R.0, SSC-R Manila)

About 300 students from the following schools registered.

“CAREER EXPO 2008” is on its second season. Introduced last year, the event is an initiative to draw a crowd of potential target enrollees and course hunters. Through the same event, SSC-R CANLUBANG CAMPUS extends its responsibility of giving the youth exciting orientation on career opportunities aside from exposing them to its facilities and course competency.

SSC-R CANLUBANG offers courses in HRM, TOURISM, BUSINESS (Accountancy, Management, Marketing, Legal Management and Computer Science), COMMUNICATION ARTS, PSYCHOLOGY and POLITICAL SCIENCE.
